Very close to Italy, this natural paradise is perfect for a sailing holiday, with our safe rental formula VeleCharter Nautical Franchising.
A dive into the most beautiful Adriatic and a landing on beaches like those on the island of Vis, and then, towards the north, a visit to the enchanting national park of the Kornati islands.
These islands are compared to the Polynesia of the Adriatic, made up of bare cliffs and dry stone walls, they are almost all uninhabited, but while sailing you come across small "secret" restaurants and kiosks where you can enjoy excellent grilled fish.
The last stop further south, defined as the pearl of Dalmatia, is the island of Hvar full of small inlets and bays accessible only from the sea and the more fashionable Palmizana, where you can disembark in the evening for a romantic dinner or a party until late at night and fix unforgettable moments of your catamaran holiday in your mind.

Sibenik and Skradin
This week-long itinerary focuses on two of the most renowned locations on the Dalmatian coast: Sibenik, with the estuary of the KRKA river and the impressive Skradin waterfalls, and the pristine archipelago of the Kornati islands. The journey starts from the Frapa marina, and after a night at anchor in a suggestive and well-sheltered bay, a few miles from the marina, the following day, with a navigation of just over 12 miles, you reach the entrance to the canal that leads to the city of Sibenik (Šibenik). Watched from a 16th century Venetian fortress, this fjord, which represents the estuary of the Krka river, offers breathtaking views.
Krka River
From Sibenik, we undertake the journey up the Krka River, for approximately 8 miles, in majestic scenery, to the picturesque town of Skradin.
Krka National Park
The KRKA National Park extends near Skradin, famous for its spectacular waterfalls. In about 2 miles you reach Sibenik again, located within a magnificent natural harbor. From here, we begin sailing up the Krka River to Skradin.
Navy ACI
From Skradin, with the possibility of choosing between the suggestive ACI marina and a romantic night at anchor in a bend of the river, in 2 days, with a night at anchor on an island of the Sibenik archipelago, you can reach the Kornati islands .
Kornati Islands
Halfway along the channel between Kornati Island and the islets to the west, lies a charming village, Vrulje, inhabited only during the summer. This archipelago of over 150 islands represents one of the most famous stretches of sea in the Mediterranean.
Kornat Island
At the northern end of the island of Kornat there is a dream bay, closed between two islands and completely sheltered: Mala Proversa. Here is one of the best restaurants in the area, Aquarius, famous for its grilled sea bass.
Split – Solta – Hvar – Vis
From the port of Split, heading south along the Dalmatian coast, you reach the southern islands of Solta, a jewel off the Dalmatian coast and an ideal destination for a quiet and relaxing excursion. Hvar, with its splendid colorful beaches and sunny climate, and Vis, with its intact natural beauty and the suggestive blue cave, complete this fascinating itinerary.
